When you have curled shingles on your roof, it’s not recommended to walk on the affected surface because they easily break off. While it’s possible to repair curled shingles depending on the cause and the amount of damage, this is only recommended as a temporary solution. This is because repairing curled shingles won’t fully restore your roofing system even if it’s done professionally. Simply put, a roof that has curled shingle damage won’t go back to its original state as the repairs won’t guarantee there won’t be any future leaks.
